Additional CVS office locations may be considered*** Reporting to the AVP, HCD Controller of the Health Care Delivery Segment (HCD), the Lead Director, Accounting will oversee the financial operations and ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions. This role is an opportunity to support a high-growth asset in HCD that is a strategically important value driver for CVS over the next several years and help this business achieve its potential. The Lead Director, Accounting will lead financial reporting and analysis, and develop a team that maintains the integrity of financial data, manages accounting processes, and ensures compliance with accounting principles and regulations. *What you will do* * Controls the preparation and review of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. * Develops and maintains accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy. * Delivers financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making. * Collaborating with relevant teams to develop accurate and realistic budgets and forecasts. * Manage month-end reporting process for portions of Health Care Delivery, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations. * Lead internal controls reviews and partner with Internal Audit team on documentation and testing of controls. * Contributes to the development of financial strategies and long-term plans in collaboration with senior management. * Communicates financial information, including results, forecasts, and key financial metrics, to senior management. * Aligns accounting systems and technology solutions to optimize financial processes and reporting. * Guides management for individual performance evaluations aimed to provide critical feedback for skills development and depth of work area experience. * Manages operational aspects of the team, and implements workforce and succession plans to meet business goals. *For this role you will need Minimum Requirements* * 10 years work experience. * Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred * Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills. * Adept at business intelligence. * Adept at collaboration and teamwork. * Health care related business experience is preferred. * Mastery of problem solving and decision making skills. * Mastery of growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills. *Education* * Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification. *Pay Range* The typical pay range for this role is: $100,000.00 - $231,500.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.    In addition to your compensation, enjoy the rewards of an organization that puts our heart into caring for our colleagues and our communities.  The Company offers a full range of medical, dental, and vision benefits.  Eligible employees may enroll in the Company's 401(k) retirement savings plan, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan is also available for eligible employees.  The Company provides a fully-paid term life insurance plan to eligible employees, and short-term and long term disability benefits.
