Aetna Resources LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in WELLESLEY, MA: Lead Director, Data Science to plan, direct, and coordinate activities for CVS data science teams. Duties include: direct daily Data Science operations across the enterprise, analyze workflow, establish priorities, and develop standards; apply analytical rigor and advanced statistical methods to the analysis of large amounts of data from PBM, Specialty, Retail, and/or HealthCare business; lead a team of Data Scientists designing and delivering analytics projects and experiments that inform solutions that accelerate Enterprise growth; manage large and complex analytical projects from data exploration, model building, performance evaluation and testing to evaluate scenarios, predict outcomes, and provide usable information on health metrics and potential future outcomes; identify evolving business needs that can be addressed with advanced analytics and translate analytics into business value; present analytics results and compelling business insights to executives; review project plans and coordinate project activity; and assign and review the work of Data Scientists and mentor junior team members. Multiple Positions. Requirements: Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Information Sciences, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires three (3) years of experience in each of the following: • Data analysis using sophisticated platforms, such as Teradata and Oracle in SQL; • MS Excel, including writing advanced excel formulas and using conditional, vlookups/hlookups, sorting and filtering, array formulas, and VBA macros, pivot reporting, and conditional formatting; • Analysis of large datasets for business process design, management, and optimization, including trend analysis, cost forecasting, and error rate reductions; • Presentation of quantitative reports and analysis to executive level audiences; • Working with cross-functional teams, such as Product, Marketing, Finance, and Legal teams; and translation of high-level business goals to technical and process requirements. Requires one (1) year of experience in each of the following: • Leadership of business analyses and initiatives; • Developing analytic projects to support retail analytic objectives; • Leading the implementation and management of standardized frameworks and workflows to deliver self-service analytics tools; • Identifying and executing personalization, business optimizing, pricing and margin optimization, marketing strategies, and new applications of artificial intelligence and machine learning (ai/ml); • Developing and leading personalization strategies in consumer business applications, including the use of machine learning capabilities on big data platforms and scaling them for enterprise-grade use case; • Leading large teams and executing a talent strategy that ensures engagement, retention, succession plans and capabilities needed for the future; and • Leadership of cross-functional projects; development of high-impact presentations for senior-level leaders; communication of technical concepts and implications to business partners. Pay Range: $179587.00/year to $280000.00/year. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.  In addition to your compensation, enjoy the rewards of an organization that puts our heart into caring for our colleagues and our communities.
