Do you have the drive to exceed customer expectations, then read on! The mission of QA Lead is to provide our customers and other stake holders highest quality software. The main objective of this role is End-to-End ownership of the product and to be the custodian of product quality in AEI (Aetna Enterprise Integration) This includes building quality test cases to verify the functionality and provide timely inputs to management and working/leading a team to resolve any problems in timely manner.     The QA Lead role is a fast-paced position, in this role you need to understand our operating principals and make them the guidelines to complete your job. *Job Description* As a QA lead your responsibility includes * Reviewing requirements, Understanding the dependencies with cross functional teams. * Document and interpret data obtained from records or systems to apply appropriate criteria and policies in line with regulatory and accreditation requirements. * You are required to lead the team, set realistic and challenging goals, and provide timely and constructive feedback. * Risk management is one of the key responsibilities. You must be able to identify potential risks that could compromise the software's quality or delay delivery. * As a QA Lead you must develop strategies to mitigate any risks identified and update leadership early on. * As a QA lead you are required to own the process of creating and defining Quality metrics to measure and monitor product performance, from concept to completion. * Implement measurements to determine test effectiveness, testing efficiency, and measure the overall quality of the Product. * As a QA technologist and leader in the organization, you will use your skills to drive, support QA managers, analysts, and automation engineers to ensure the highest quality application deliveries to production.   * You will have overall QA ownership for regression and end-to-end functions on medium to large initiatives spanning multiple teams and systems and collaborate with leaders/teams across the enterprise. * You are required to Monitor/Manage/Resolve conflicts for multiple ongoing projects at the same time. * You are required to collaborate with Development, Project Managers and Solution Architects to validate performance and resiliency of the consumer technology ecosystem. * Work closely with Vendor/Partner teams for execution of tests based on software delivery/release schedule. * Participate and provide recommendations for early identification/remediation of issues/defects * Always be ready to Identify/Propose Frameworks/tools for automation * You are required to quickly identify production issues and act immediately on any issues reported by consumer. * Work closely with development team and track the issues to closure and resolve impediments to the QA team. *Required Qualifications* * 5-7 years of experience with IT industry Preferably Health care/Insurance domain * Highly proficient in test *automation* skills. * Proficiency in using testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Jmeter ), Programming experience in one or more languages (scripting/functional/imperative -- C/C++, Java, Python, SQL, etc.) would be advantages. Knowledge in  gherkins, rest assure, Apache poi, github, devops, Jenkins is required. * Extensive track record driving team-wide adoption of new QA technology and trends including QA test automation using gherkins, Rest Assure, Java, Python, apache poi, github, devops, Jenkins, RPA, and model-based testing * Advanced technical knowledge on QA industry tools (ex. UIPath, BDD Automation, Selenium, Cypress, Rally etc.) * Experience in API Testing using tools such as SOAP UI / POSTMAN / READY API * Working experience in Agile methodology using Jira with in-sprint automation * Proficiency with modern dev-ops tools like *GitHub*, BitBucket, Jira. * Contribute to the *innovations*, Inspect the problems and work towards resolving them * Ability to keep focused on long-term, strategic goals while executing against short-term objectives. * Proven ability to apply understand of complex distributed system/application concepts to ensure *QA delivery of enterprise initiatives* involving multiple disparate systems. * Experience with strong background in API Manual testing and Integration testing and DB. * Good knowledge and hands on experience using HTML/ Java, Swagger/Node JS/Java * Attention to quality, demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, Always looks for ways to improve and promote quality. * Ready to apply feedback to improve performance and monitors own work to ensure quality. * Identifies and resolves problems early on, gathers and analyzes information skillfully. * Always ready to develops alternative solutions, works well in group problem solving situations.   *Preferred Qualifications* * Ability to Innovate, display original thinking and creativity, meets challenges with resourcefulness, generating suggestions for improving work. * Ability to develop innovative approaches and ideas and presents ideas and information in a manner that convinces team and management. * Experience in overseeing Test Automation with one or more test automation tools and frameworks: Selenium, UFT, TOSCA, Rational Robot, etc. * Extensive experience with Pharmacy, Benefits and Clinical Systems or other Healthcare. * Experience with Cloud Testing * Oracle, Java, Angular JS experience * Dev/Sec/Ops and CI/CD experience * Experience with Message queuing technologies like *JMS*, Rabbit MQ, etc., * Working experience with Apache Jmeter to run *performance* tests is a plus. * Experience in creating new framework from scratch and or enhance existing frameworks * Win as a team – Make big things happen by working together and being open to new insights   *Personal Skills*     * Good at completing assignments with attention to detail and to a high degree of accuracy.   * Ability to perform effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads, and requirements. * Time efficient and highly organized * Proven experience in working with onshore and offshore colleagues\contractors * Result driven approach and should demonstrate ownership and accountability. * Superior cross-functional collaboration and communication skills * Proven experience as a change agent and driving teams towards automation, ability to identify bottlenecks and drives for improvements. * Work independently or as part of a team and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision.   * Good verbal and written communications * Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers and customer.   Education: * Bachelor's degree required. * Masters degree preferred. *Pay Range* The typical pay range for this role is: $60,300.00 - $132,600.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.    In addition to your compensation, enjoy the rewards of an organization that puts our heart into caring for our colleagues and our communities.  The Company offers a full range of medical, dental, and vision benefits.  Eligible employees may enroll in the Company's 401(k) retirement savings plan, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan is also available for eligible employees.  The Company provides a fully-paid term life insurance plan to eligible employees, and short-term and long term disability benefits.
