St. Luke's Health Emergency Room-Huntsville, a department of St. Luke's Health-The Woodlands Hospital, brings quality emergency services from the Texas Medical Center to patients in the Huntsville, Livingston, and Walker County communities. Our ER in Huntsville is located near Sam Houston State University and Sam Houston National Forest and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Our team of board-certified physicians, emergency-trained nurses, and licensed radiology and laboratory technologists offer Texas Medical Center-quality emergency services closer to home. The Huntsville emergency room serves people of all ages with minor and major injuries or illnesses without the long wait at a hospital emergency department. As a hospital-backed ER, patients can expect to have access to on-call St. Luke's Health specialists and seamless admission to a St. Luke's Health Hospital when necessary.

**Responsibilities**

In this role, your patients will be critically ill or unstable following extensive injury, surgery, or life threatening diseases. Our nurses wear many hats daily from patient advocate to family advisor and, in some cases, even friend. Emergency Department RN Role:
Patience and focus to constantly monitor high acuity setting
Proven ability to think and react quickly in critical situations
Provide care before, during and after emergencies
Proficiency with telemetry / cardiac Monitoring

**Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications:**
Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas
BLS with skills demonstration
One year RN expereince
**Preferred Qualifications:**
One (1) year of RN experience Emergency Room
Bachelors in Nursing Preferred
**Pay Range**
$33.00 - $52.80 /hour
