**Job Title: Full-Time Caregiver - Memory Care**

**Position Overview:**
As a Full-Time Caregiver in our Memory Care unit, you will play an essential role in enhancing the quality of life for residents under our care. You will provide individualized assistance with daily living activities, ensure safety, and foster meaningful relationships with residents, families, and other staff members. This position requires empathy, patience, and a commitment to promoting the independence and dignity of each resident.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist residents with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support residents with daily activities, including meal preparation and feeding, walking, and exercise.
- Monitor residents' health conditions, reporting any changes to the nursing staff promptly and accurately.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and conversations to stimulate cognitive health.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and positive environment while adhering to established health and safety protocols.
- Document care actions and communicate effectively with the team to ensure continuity and quality of care.
- Build trusting relationships with residents and their families, providing emotional support and reassurance.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or GED required; additional education in healthcare or geriatrics is a plus.
- Previous experience in a caregiver role, preferably in a memory care setting.
- Strong understanding of dementia and Alzheimer's disease.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle physical aspects of the caregiving process, including lifting and mobility assistance.
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to providing high-quality care.
- Must pass a background check and meet any other compliance requirements.
