- A hospital in California is looking for an experienced Cardiac Telemetry RN for a travel assignment.
- The right candidate will have 2+ years of experience, hold an active BLS, ACLS, NIH and CA license.
- Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Cardiac Telemetry RN
- - Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH
- - Active CA license
- - Experience with post cath patients, cardioversion, ablations, AICD, pacing patients, chest tubes, tube feedings, managing drips such as amiodarone, cardizem, nitro, pressors, dopamine, insulin, heparin, etc.
- Schedule Information
- 3 shifts on the unit for floor specific orientation
- Shifts: 7a-7p, 3p-3a, 7p-7a
- Every other weekend requirement (Fri/Sat nights, Sat/Sun for days)
- Every other holiday rotating
- Unit Specific Information
- - Monitors: Phillips monitors, must read and interpret strips; monitor techs available
- - No full ventilation support, but does have CPAP, BIPAP and Hi-flow O2
- - Common diagnosis/Types of patients: Post cath patients both clean and interventions; post TEE, Post cardioversion, ablations, AICD, sometimes external temp pacer patients, sometimes transcutaneous pacing, chest tubes, tube feedings
