That's Nice, But What's the Job?

The Structured Financial Reporting Analyst will support ongoing financial operations by serving as a key contact for monthly and quarterly reporting processes. The Financial Reporting Analyst will also work with internal and external partners to help execute financial statement and audit deliverables, build strong cross-functional relationships, and take on analytical projects that support broader finance initiatives.

In long, our Structured Financial Reporting Analyst are response for:

  • Prepare ongoing monthly reporting to financing partners, including servicer statements and compliance reporting.

  • Assist and liaise with various Accounting and Finance teams in key month end reconciliation and close processes.

  • Assist with the execution of quarterly and annual compliance, financial statement, and audit reporting deliverables, for both internal and external partners.

  • Develop and maintain relationships and internal customer service with all other departments.

  • Assist with ad-hoc projects and analytical opportunities.

So What Kind of Folks Are We Looking for?

  • Organization and time management skills in spades.  You'll be handling multiple projects and deadlines that will require you to prioritize then re-prioritize… then… re-prioritize again.

  • Operate autonomously.  This isn't a “hold your hand” kind of role.  We give you autonomy to be creative in your space and do your thing.  We need an individual that is self-motivated to get the work done and get the work done well.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to talk and write with confidence, charisma and competence for a wide variety of audiences including management.

  • A mind for the details.  Okay we know “detail-oriented” is on about every job description – but we really mean it! 

The Specifics.

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or equivalent work experience.

  • 1+ years' overall experience in accounting or finance.

  • Strong Analytics and project management skills.

  • Critical and creative thinker.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • SQL and Snowflake experience is a plus.

  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
