Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Chef, the Cook is responsible for cooking, preparing and seasoning food. Also responsible for production and distribution of foods for hospital patients, cafeteria and special functions as assigned. Must be able to work independently.

Location: Englewood, NJ
Status: Part Time
Shift: Variable. Every other weekend required, both Saturday and Sunday.
Hours: 11:30am-7:30pm, 9:00am-5:00pm, 7:00am-3:00pm
Job Essentials: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies.
- One year significant experience/institution cooking or equivalent
- Knowledge of sanitation and safety regulations
- Must be able to perform basic arithmetic problems
- Good verbal/written communication skills
- Must be able to communicate with all dietary personnel, hospital employees and maintenance
Education Requirements:
- High School Graduate or GED or a minimum of 3 years full-time experience in a related field
