Job Summary:
Assists in the delivery of primary health and patient care management by effectively performing select Lead medical assistant and administrative/clerical duties.

Job Essentials: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies.
- Current CMA certification required
- Current CPR certification required
- Minimum of four years of clinical experience in a medical office required
- Must have knowledge of examination, diagnostic, and treatment room procedures
- Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer to patient care
- Skilled in taking vitals and maintain medical records and recording test results
- Knowledge in medical abbreviations and terminology
- Knowledge in computer systems and applications, EMR experience a plus
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact effectively with patients, physicians, nurses, co-workers, hospital administration
- Ability to exercise initiative, problem solving, and decision-making
- Previous insurance pre-certification experience preferred
- Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions
- Ability to establish priorities and coordinate work activities
Education Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate's degree preferred.
Englewood Health provides a minimum rate to comply with New Jersey Law. The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation. In addition to the minimum rate, eligible employees may receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other wellness resources. Minimum rate: $18.50
