The Mission Systems Group (MSG) is currently providing cybersecurity, engineering, and support staff for the Defensive Cyber Operations for Space (DCO-S) program office.

ENSCO, Inc. is seeking DCO-S Senior Network Engineer to support our Space Force customer and existing DCO-S workforce. Must be local to Colorado Springs, CO and work in office full time.

Duties will include:

  • Support the DCO-S program office alongside ENSCO's current team.
  • Engage with Space Force mission partners and engineers to provide technical support for DCO-S tool integration
  • Administering a Space Force COMSEC account will be part of daily responsibilities.
  • Assist project managers with technical expertise.
  • Travel with DCO-S fielding team to CONUS and OCONUS sites supporting site surveys, installation, and post installation test and evaluation activities. Travel 15-25% anticipated.
  • Provide feedback to the software development team in the successful Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) contributing to continuous improvement with DevSecOps.
  • Support hardware testing and architecture evaluations to aid in the engineering of custom solutions to meet changing needs.


Qualifications

  • BA/BS or MA/MS in IT, Cybersecurity, or Engineering disciplines or equivalent experience.
  • Previous Space Force specific system administration and/or network engineering experience.• DOD Cybersecurity, IT, or network project management experience.
  • Familiarity of DISA circuit management processes
  • Familiarity with taclane administration and COMSEC
  • Familiarity with enterprise management tools for Dell, Cisco, Palo Alto, Gigamon, etc.
  • Operational experience supporting mission critical DOD networks. 
  • Current 8140 IAT OR IAM  Level II certification (or higher) 
  • Current U.S. DoD Top Secret security clearance

Requirements

  • 7 years DoD network engineering experience.​​​​​​
  • 1 year DoD system administration experience.
  • Previous experience managing an Air Force or Space Force COMSEC account.
  • Experience using computers and software applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Detail-oriented with good organization skills.
  • Possess good oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • An active SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE and ability to attain a TS/SCI security clearance, for which you must be a U.S. Citizen.
