Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is one of the largest publicly traded partnerships and a leading North American provider of midstream energy services to producers and consumers of natural gas, NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals. Our services include: natural gas gathering, treating, processing, transportation and storage; NGL transportation, fractionation, storage and import and export terminals; crude oil gathering, transportation, storage and terminals; petrochemical and refined products transportation, storage and terminals; and a marine transportation business that operates primarily on the United States inland and Intracoastal Waterway systems. The Data Management Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the mid-office operations by assisting with the accurate use and presentation of custody data. This position is essential for assisting in maintaining data consistency and integrity throughout its lifecycle. The ideal candidate works effectively under minimal supervisor, providing internal and cross departmental support. This will require interaction with core business users and the need to work as a team member.
Responsibilities include, but are limited to:
- Assist in collecting, analyzing, reconciling, and processing data from various sources to be transformed into actionable information for different systems and departments.
- Provide accurate and timely information to support business decision-making.
- Offer consistent and timely support to both internal and external customers.
- Develop a basic understanding of the company's business, culture, and operations.
- Support the evaluation and enhancement of processes and procedures to ensure information integrity in a dynamic environment.
- Assist in identifying deficiencies and contribute to delivering realistic resolutions that improve efficiency.
- Provide support across all commodities Crude, Refined Products, NGLs, and Gas.
- Support cross-departmental projects that promote collaborative teamwork, inclusivity, and process improvements.
- Conduct preliminary data quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and track data-related issues and follow up on resolutions.
- Provide detailed administrative support for data management activities.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to data management and analysis.
- Responsible for updating the materials associated with the continuous refinement of data policies and procedures.
Requirements
The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline is preferred
- Relevant internship or academic project experience in the energy markets and/or industrial sector (e.g., petrochemical, refinery, LNG, Gas Transmissions) is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in data mining, modeling, and data analysis using Excel.
- Ability to thrive in a diverse, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective information exchange.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Efficient time management and prioritization skills to meet deadlines.
- Basic proficiency in analyzing data to support business decisions.
- Basic understanding if IT database concept and technical integrated solutions is preferred
