The Plant Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that Natural Gas Cryogenic Facilities are operated safely, efficiently and within regulatory compliance. In addition, the Supervisor is also responsible for ensuring that personnel have the tools, training, and resources to operate the facilities safely, efficiently, and within compliance. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Supervises/manages plant employees and supports them in achieving asset goals and objectives.
  • Prepares and recommends annual operating budget and is responsible for cost containment measures.
  • Reviews and analyzes Key Performance Indicators to identify areas of lost opportunity as well as opportunities to increase reliability, optimize operations and lower operating costs.
  • Works closely with the Commercial Team to maximize the profitability of the plant and system.
  • Ensures compliance with OSHA (Process Safety Management and Process Hazard Analyses, etc.) and other applicable regulations.
  • Works with the Environmental group to ensure state and federal regulatory compliance paperwork and requirements are updated and accurate.
  • Oversees the planning and scheduling of maintenance projects and routine maintenance activities.
  • Subject to being able to provide emergency response.


Requirements

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
  • Engineering degree or 10 years' experience in the oil and gas industry is required.
  • 1 year experience managing and directing a workforce and managing a facility budget is required.
  • 2 years Amine Plant experience is preferred.
  • 2 years Natural Gas Cryogenic Process experience is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and able to deal concurrently with a variety of projects and issues is required.
  • Strong focus on safety and familiar with requirements of Process Safety Management is required.
  • Adaptable to a changing work environment is required.
  • Must live or be willing to relocate to within 1 hour of reporting location is required.
