JOB OVERVIEW:

Client Managers provide high-quality service to our Clients and Producers. They work to ensure satisfaction by balancing the quality of service and speed of response. In this role, the Client Manager will support a Small Group book of business in the administration of employee benefits (EB) programs and insurance policies, coordination of billing/payment, and other administrative duties and projects as assigned.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role is responsible for, but not limited to, the following job duties:

• Exercise independent judgment and discretion regarding the tracking and management of policy renewals
• Research and respond to client and insurance carrier questions, including billing inquiries and other service issues
• Prepare materials for client meetings with limited direction and oversight
• Maintain accurate policy information and other relationship documentation in agency management systems
• Manage client invoicing and accounts receivable

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 2 years' progressive experience in the employee benefits brokerage/consulting industry
• Strong computer skills including MS office suite, Excel and PowerPoint
• Detail-oriented
• Excellent organization and time management skills

• Composure and Resilience: Able to deal effectively with pressure, maintains focus and intensity and remains optimistic and persistent even under adversity. Demonstrates the ability and propensity to recover quickly and maintain self-control following setbacks, rejections and conflict.
• Time Management: Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple responsibilities by being organized and keeping on top of important time-sensitive tasks.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• College degree in insurance or related field preferred0• Insurance license preferred, or candidate will be required to obtain one within six months of date of hire

COMPENSATION: 

The national average salary for this role is $70,000 - $80,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
