Sales Operations Analyst

Location(s): New York City, NY, San Francisco, CA | Hybrid

Get To Know The Team:

SS&C Wealth & Investment Technology business unit (SS&C Advent & SS&C Eze) is seeking a Sales Operations Analyst to join SS&C WIT business unit in its San Francisco or New York office (Hybrid).  SS&C WIT Revenue Operations team supports sales processes for sales of industry-leading investment technology platforms such as Eze Investment Suite, Eclipse, Advent Investment Suite and Black Diamond Wealth Platform, and focuses on the areas of sales workflow, sales enablement, reporting, and data analysis.

In this position, the analyst will play a key role in enabling our dynamic sales organization and in executing critical business processes of SS&C WIT. As part of Revenue Operations team, the analyst will support day-to-day sales team workflows and processes in Salesforce and will provide reporting of pipeline, various sales KPIs, and other information critical to effectively managing sales organization.  The analyst will work closely with other operations groups as well as marketing, legal, and IT organizations to design and implement business processes and workflows and to report on performance. This role requires the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment, meet strict deadlines, and think creatively about solving problems and reporting performance.

What You Will Get To Do: 

  • Develop a deep understanding of SS&C WIT business model and of internal data sources used to maintain its sales and revenue operations

  • Provide day-to-day support for sales team, including troubleshooting workflows on the current tech stack (Salesforce, Highspot, Aviso, Zoominfo, LinkedIn Navigator)

  • Work with other Revenue Operations team members on the preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly reports, statistics, and analysis around sales activities using Salesforce, Excel, and PowerBI/Snowflake

  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and other Operations group to facilitate go-to-market initiatives and enhance existing sales workflows

  • Lead and/or actively participate in Revenue Operations projects and initiatives

  • Work closely with IT team to implement sales workflow enhancements in Salesforce and other sales tools

  • Prepare ad hoc data analysis and reports

  • Specific areas of responsibility: 

    • Salesforce sales data and workflow maintenance

    • Pipeline tracking and management

    • Sales data analysis and reporting

What You Will Bring: 

  • Bachelor's degree in business or finance

  • 1-2 years of applicable work experience in Sales Operations or Revenue Operations 

  • Hands-on Salesforce experience is required; certification is a plus but not required

  • Experience in sales data analysis and reporting is required

  • Experience with Excel, PowerPoint is required

  • Experience with Highspot or other Sales Enablement platform is a plus but not required

  • Experience with a sales outreach platform (Salesloft, Salesforce Sales Engagement) is a plus but not required

  • Experience with PowerBI / Snowflake is a plus but not required

  • Strong analytical, project management and organizational skills are critical

  • Ability to learn quickly, effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment

  • Ability to work independently and within a team 

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

Salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, job related knowledge, skills, abilities, business needs, and geographic regions. NY: Salary range for the position: 65,000 USD to 75,000 USD. California: Salary range for the position: 65,000 USD to 75,000 USD. Other States Salary range for the position: 65,000 USD to 75,000 USD.
