Federatedis searching for a Director of Human Resources. This individual will be responsible for all aspects of human resources for the organization.

General Summary:

The Director of Human Resources plans, leads, directs, develops, and coordinates the policies, and activities of the Human Resource function, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organization's mission and talent strategy.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Collaborates with the leadership team to understand the organization's goals strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
  2. Creates and executes learning and development programs/initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
  3. Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; and training and development.
  4. Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; administers and negotiates all employee benefits programs researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
  5. Oversees and administers the company's non-discrimination, EEOC and affirmative action compliance programs.
  6. Maintains required HIPAA compliance program, and acts as privacy officer.
  7. Monitors and ensures the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  8. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field required.

A minimum of ten years of human resource management experience is required.

SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.
