Description

Responsible for Core Treasury Management products, Merchant Services and Procurement Card market needs, profitability, regulatory compliance, operational functions and client's user-experience. Advocates and recommends tactical and long-term strategies for each designated product to ensure all products are marketable, competitive and profitable. The Product Management team is responsible for the product lifecycle, effectiveness of capabilities, pricing/billing, audits, risk management and service quality. Collaborates with Treasury Management Sales and cross-functional teams (Operations, Marketing, IT) to define, market and deliver new product features. 

Essential Job Responsibilities

1. Product Strategy and Advocacy:

a. Manages Treasury Management profitability and net revenue impacts through strategic analysis of product performance, sales productivity and revenue contributions. 

b. Collaborates with key lines of business, such as IT, Operations, Risk Management and Marketing to ensure alignment of Treasury Management strategies with broader organizational goals.

c. Advocates for new products, product enhancements and retirement of products. 

d. Oversees competitive analysis, pricing and performance analytics to formulate plans and recommendations for product enhancements and pricing in key markets

e. Stays abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies and regulatory changes related to Treasury Management and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and optimization.  

f. Presents Initiatives and policy changes to gain executive buy-in for future capital investments. 

2. Product Roadmap and Execution (go-to market rollout and internal training)

a. Works closely with TM Group Leader to prioritize new product initiatives based on market demand, client feedback and regulatory changes. 

b. Develops and maintains roadmap strategies and operating plans that align with Corporate Bank objectives. 

c. Maintains budgets/financial plans for Treasury Management products, roadmap plans, and performance metrics to present to leadership and key stakeholders. 

d. Manages the go-to market process from ideation through launch, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met. Including product positioning, pricing and marketing collateral in collaboration with the TM Group Leader, TM Sales Leader and marketing.

e. Manages data-driven decisions to optimize product performance post-launch, including adoption rates, usage metrics and client satisfaction. 

f. Supports the Organization's commitment high-quality service by providing multi-disciplined guidance and project support.  

3. Client Experience and Market Insights

a. Assesses the ability of our products to meet market needs and our client's business objectives 

b. Serves as a product champion through a deep understanding of market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.

4. Risk Management 

a. Maintains Policies and Procedures for Treasury Management to ensure alignment with the Organizations overall risk appetite and to maintain compliance with regulatory and audit requirements. 

b. Manages vendor relationships to ensure service quality, profitability and strategic alignment with overall business strategies 

c. Manages policy changes and organization of supporting documents.  

d. Stays abreast of regulations/regulatory changes and supports the creation of and adherence to risk policies and procedures to ensure appropriate risk management practices and compliance with regulatory requirements

e. Provides assistance to Audit, Risk and Compliance during times of regulatory exams. 

5. Provides guidance and leads mapping/integration efforts for bank conversions and system enhancements. Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

6. Mentors Product Managers and Business Analysts, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment while ensuring high-performance standards and professional development. 

7. Evaluates department activities, recognize opportunities for improvement and establish department goals that align with the Organization's objectives

Bona Fide Occupational Qualifications

1.    Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or related field of study, or equivalent work experience required.   MBA, advanced certification(s), or progressive product management experience preferred.   

2.   Excellent written and verbal communications and trouble-shooting skills, strong vendor management and negotiation skills, and strong database knowledge and experience.

3.   Minimum of seven (7) years' experience in Treasury Management, Commercial Banking operations, budgeting/profitability, technology, marketing, and/or product development required.
