Senior Director, Business Transformation Office

The Senior Director Business Transformation Office will help launch the newly formed team responsible for organizational change and lead our efforts to improve our overall processes, efficiencies, and continued business results.  The Senior Director of Business Transformation works closely with other stakeholders in the business to implement strategies that drive growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer experience.

Major Responsibilities

  • Responsible for driving and managing large-scale transformational initiatives that align with the company's overall objectives. Develops and drives the operational excellence that derives from our size and scale
  • Defines a more flexible business model that permits us to be effective and responsive; clearly defined consistent approach to executing and running our business built on best practices and process discipline and compliance

  • Drives for clarity on program objectives, priorities, and measures. Develops solutions/recommendations to unique and complex problems and ensures program solutions are consistent with organizational objectives. Identifies, assess, and mitigates program risks and issues and removes impediments.

  • ·Develops strong relationships with business clients and technology partners to manage program delivery expectations and implementation. Manages the resources and vendors assigned to program by verifying progress and removing obstacles

  • Makes connections across teams and workstreams to drive identification and facilitation of inter-dependencies. 

  • All other duties as assigned.

Experience & Skills Required

  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 10 years of related experience; diverse project or program management experience to include analysis, design, documentation, project/support management.
  • Ability to work with general direction to scope, plan and manage cross-department or multi-department programs
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large and highly complex assignments including those with enterprise-wide impact.
  • Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Seen as a team player and is supportive of group decisions and ideas.
  • Written and oral communications skills with the ability to build rapport within the company, field and /or outside vendors.
  • High degree of personal initiative and motivation.
  • Experience with project methodology through project life cycle phases
  • Visionary who can both create and internally sell a strategy and direction, build the tools and support the implementation.
  • Strong project management skills and process orientation. Ability to assess needs, design and implement processes across multi-disciplinary groups.
  • Effective critical thinking, problem solving and change management skills. Ability to conduct complex analytics and synthesize insights into actionable initiatives.
  • Collaborative style with a strong ability to establish trust, build relationships and influence others across all levels and functions of the organization.
  • Flexible and adaptable style; a leader who can positively impact both strategic and tactical initiatives
  • Strong focus on the customer and end-user experience
  • Experience leading major strategic, cross-functional initiatives within large complex organizations.
  • Strong executive-level communication skills (listening, written, verbal, presentation).
  • Strong business background in financial, strategic, and organizational analysis.
