Driven by the large development in 5G, datacenter and AI, the data- and telecom industries are now in dire need of new innovative power solutions. Flex Power Modules develops and produces world-class power modules for all major companies in these segments.

Our power modules deliver effects over 2 000 W on a surface that is only slightly larger than a matchbox. This puts enormous requirements on mechanical solutions where used components size, tolerance and strength is constantly challenged.

The design center in Kalmar is under large expansion and is now looking for you who wants to develop our mechanic department. You will be responsible for development of cooling blocks, magnetic components, power pins and components to testboards and test systems. You will also verify that your design is robust in respect of tolerance, strength and reliability.

What a typical day looks like:

• Development of mechanical components: Power/signal pins, cooling plates and ferrites;
• Evaluation and selection of glues and thermal filling material;
• Producibility regarding tolerances and assembly.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering;
• Good CAD skills;
• Good knowledge of any PLM system;
• At least 3 years of experience in mechanics;  
• Fluent Swedish and English.
