Job Summary

Job summary:

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Director, Operations located in Aguascalientes.

Reporting to the Sr Director, Program Management; Director, NPIs Operations is responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of new product launches, ensuring that they are executed efficiently and effectively.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Strategic Planning: Develops and maintains manufacturing operations business plans to include all program requirements, labor hours, cycle, production costs, and image.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Works with various teams, including product management, sales, and operations, to ensure alignment and successful product launches.
  • Operational Readiness: Ensures that operations are ready to support new product launches, including developing and implementing operational processes and standards.
  • Performance Metrics: Defines and manages key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success and identifies areas for improvement.
  • Project Management: Leads initiatives and projects to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Guarantee production, delivery in full, on time and in specifications, required by customers, at the most cutthroat cost
  • Define operational financial goals
  • Operational business experience including a successful performance track record managing staff and P&L
  • Establish and communicate Business Unit goals and assignments.
  • Define and execute operational programs in line with strategic plans and annual operating goals.
  •  Meet with Executive Business to review the readiness status, P&L performance and evaluate KOI's.
  • Attend quarterly business reviews with key customers.
  • Partner with other business to establish strategic plans and goals.
  • Direct and control the activities on purchasing business, production control, planning, manufacturing engineering, test engineering, maintenance, manufacturing, program managment and logistics.
  • Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in a related field. A Master's or MBA degree is preferred.
  • Advance English.
  • Critical Operators / TML / DL / depreciation /WIP / Key metrics for the operation.
  • Management and comprehension of P&L.
  • Customer and company metrics.
  • Excellent Business skills/ People management staff development.
  • Passionate Intelligence Commercial negotiation.
  • Negotiation with clients.
  • Guide multiple manufacturing entities.
  •  Ability to identify creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems.
  • Able to utilize tools to monitor departmental cost and cost trends, continuously striving to improve value.
  • Possesses strong business acumen and proven ability to improve key financial results.
  • Excellent communication skills and networking abilities.
  • Effective relational skills with ability to negotiate and influence for positive outcomes.
  • Strong innovation skills and creativity.
  • Ability to read, research, and interpret the most complex documents.
  • Ability to acknowledge effectively to the most passionate inquiries or complaints.
  • Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style.
  • Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference to practical situations.
  • Ability to think strategically, define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
