To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Equipment Maintenance Manager located in Austin, TX.

Reporting to the Director, Operations Engineering, the Equipment Maintenance Manager Directs activities of personnel engaged in the troubleshooting, repairing and maintenance of manufacturing equipment to attain goals consistent with cost, quality, and delivery requirements.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Directs daily department activities to maximize equipment utilization and support production needs.
  • Establishes preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Forecasts operating costs of department and directs preparation of budget requests.
  •  Reviews and establishes material, equipment, and workforce resource requirements.
  •  Coordinates maintenance activities with other functional groups such as engineering and operations. Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the departmental function.
  • Administer safety programs to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees.
  • Generates maintenance logs and other operations metrics.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or science.
  • Requires a minimum of 5 years of engineering experience, including broad-based management and supervision.
  • Able to read, comprehend, and interpret complex instructions.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees, manufacturing support, and peers. problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
