Mirror Controls international (MCi), a Flex company, is the global market leader in mirror glass and power-folding actuators. Currently MCi is expanding its product portfolio to other Automotive actuation solutions such as Active Aerodynamics & Motor cooling management. To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Global Business Development Manager located in Woerden, Netherlands.

Reporting to the Director Business Development, the Global Business Development Manager will explore new segments, drive for 1st product introduction and then grow the segment to a sustainable and independent entity within MCi. A strong collaboration will exist between you and both the Technical Product Managers (PM) and the existing regional Sales teams. You are a strong/respectful communicator as well a true collaborator, especially in busy times.

What a typical day looks like:

• Collect, Integrate and Submit regional segment top line input annually for the 5 Year Business plan cycle.
• Assure correct product planning is integrated in this 5Y submission, collaboration with PM essential.
• Identify/collect new trends and seek collaboration within global sales teams to get confirmation thereof.
• Proactively drive acquisition and create Long Term Customer Agreements to secure long term revenue.
• Continuously building new customer relations, as MCi continues to diversify its business/customers.
• Create, obtain approval, roll out and maintain a global segment pricing strategy.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor (BSc.) in Mechanical Engineering with recent and relevant sales/marketing/business training
• Understands financials in terms of Investments, Volumes, Pricing and how this relates to NPV and ROIC.
• Basic understanding of Legal concepts. Able to perform contract review in collaboration with internal legal.
• English and German or French language. German is pré.
• Extensive experience (5+ years) in comparable job of which you're able to demonstrate recent successes.
• Ideally experienced within Automotive and basic knowledge of IATF16949
