Flex Cork in Ireland is a central manufacturing and logistics point in the global Flex network. On site we offer manufacturing, innovation and integration services as well as advanced forward and reverse logistics and supply chain offerings.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Global Head of ITAD located in Cork, Ireland.

Reporting to the Sr Director, Sales Operations, the Global Head of ITAD role will lead, design and create advanced circular economy solutions for our existing and future customers.

Working together with internal and external subject matter experts you will lead the development of the ITAD strategy developing links with brokers & resellers to enable a market place for ITAD.

The Global Head of ITAD will engage with key Hyperscale clients to provide a market leading position in ITAD services, encompassing, Automated disassembly & recycling, product test and resale. This will be driven on a digital sustainability network providing traceability and & C02 reporting to clients.

What a typical day looks like:

• Working with cross-functional teams creating winning innovative and customer specific solutions with speed and efficiency;
• Propose and/or design Customer technical solutions, which include creating demos and proofs of concept with Innovative Circular Economy solutions, related to ITAD and Recycling;
• Provide consistent feedback from the market to Product Management and Development teams and coordinate gaps between product functionality and customer requirements;
• Engage and onboard with key stakeholders, build a database of qualified buyers for IT Assets, including but not limited to, HDD, SSD, Dimms, Servers, Networking equipment;
• Utilize Market knowledge to create a skillset in flex to value ITAD product for resale & recycling;
• Develop a network of key recyclers for the most sustainable outcome for materials such as metals, batteries, PCBA, plastics, enable connectivity to the providers via the flex sustainability platform;
• Process - model the Customer specific solution, understanding flows, volumes, etc. and interface with other areas of Flex to obtain the data required;
• Ensure that all technical and business requirements of the customer / prospect are clearly understood, and articulate how our solutions can meet them;
• Ensure knowledge and best practice transfer throughout the organization;
• Ensure effective transitions (new customer introductions and exits) by working closely with the ops team and setting up a transition to account management team;
• Solve customers' business issues with GSS technology, brainstorming with cross functional teams on technical propositions to enhance customer value add;
• Lead Customer engagement such as workshops with customers on ITAD topics.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• A completed degree in business, finance, supply chain, engineering or similar industry experience;
• A relevant background and demonstrated experience in supply chain, Circular Economy, ITAD management, logistics or similar;
• Strong analytical thinking skills in order to analyze and understand complex supply chain challenges with ideally previous experience doing supply chain and data analysis;
• Intercultural Experience in a large, multinational, matrix-based organization with globally distributed stakeholders is an advantage;
• Strong MS Excel skills and excellent English communication skills in order to work together with global stakeholders;
• Willingness to travel up to 30% on average (mainly EMEA area).
