• Typically requires a minimum of 1-2 years of related experience in maintenance to HVAC systems (centrifugal chillers & DX units, air handlers with RH control, humidifiers and de-humidifiers, split DX units, boilers, pumps.)
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair issues with HVAC equipment.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to read and draft control and mechanical diagrams.
• Knowledge of utility plant electrical and mechanical systems (Chillers, Boilers, Compressors, chilled/hot water air handlers). Building automation systems - Schneider struxure Ware.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and use of DMM, amp probe. Low voltage <120vac and medium voltage =<277vac
• Ability to read and understand HVAC control diagrams.

Roof Top DX Units, Split DX Units, or any refrigerant cycle in HVAC units. compressor, condenser, Expansion Valve, Evaporator.
