To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Manager AI Strategy located in Milpitas, CA or Remote.

Reporting to the Director, Corporate Strategy, the Manager AI Strategy will collaborate with the broader Corporate Strategy team and will lead cross-organizational strategic projects and workstreams. The successful candidate is expected to help the Corporate Strategy team and Flex more holistically to put strategy into action to drive growth, profitability, and innovation for a dynamic and global corporation.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Serve as a collaborator and trusted advisor to Flex's senior executives and business group leaders on strategies that cross organizations, working in partnership with one or more business unit(s) or market segment(s) to develop and update corporate AI Strategy.  
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, findings, and recommendations, often presenting to the C-Suite and CEO as well as prepare materials for Board conversations. Lead a portfolio of high-profile/high-impact projects, including the CEO's top focus areas. 
  • Apply creative problem-solving skills to develop strategies, communicate insights, and synthesize conclusions into recommendations. Help drive or ensure the necessary transformation or integration of the resulting initiatives that will impact the long-term (annual) direction and success of the company. 
  • Collaborate with a team of high-performing strategy associates and/or strategy managers and contribute to the coaching and development of the broader Corporate Strategy Team. Develop a strong team culture of success, collaboration, comradery, empathy, inclusion, and fun. 
  • Establish functional strategic plans and objectives, including setting clear metrics for success and milestones to progress the work from idea to recommendation. Manage both short- and long-term deliverables for self and team. 
  • Lead completion of high-quality business, market, and/or technology analysis to develop new growth recommendations including identification and assessment of existing / new market initiatives. Frame complex decisions and insights / identify risks (external and internal) that could impact the adoption or ability to execute. Partner with corporate development and relevant business unit(s) to put together an inorganic strategy and identify/evaluate potential candidates. 
  • Lead and manage strategic AI implementations throughout the organization. Collaborate with business unit(s) to ensure successful implementation, identify, and mitigate any potential risks. Effectively manage the implementation schedule to ensure timely completion.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor's degree and 6+ years' (or master's degree and 4+ years') experience required, including 2+ years' work experience in business or corporate strategy team, management consulting, or equivalent. 
  • Industry experience in technology, manufacturing, and supply chain preferred. 
  • Advanced operations, processes, and people skills; solid financial acumen. 
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present to senior leaders and executives 
  • Detailed expertise in a complex functional/technical area or broad breadth of knowledge in multiple areas. 
  • Direct people management, as well as ability to influence and lead cross-functional people and teams.
