Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Manager- Sourcing located in Sriperumbudur.

What a typical day looks like:

• Responsible for directing the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of processes and procedures within the organization related to direct materials Sourcing
• Develop & Drive India sourcing strategies in line with Global Procurement Strategies
• Identify and select preferred/strategic suppliers in accordance with the organization requirement & procurement policies
• Lead Mechanical & Electromechanical part development & qualification along with CFT
• Identify and drive opportunities for Alternate sourcing and Localization for cost effectiveness
• Conduct & Lead supplier negotiations
• Continuous rationalization and optimization of supply base to drive efficiency
• Contract negotiation and implementing long term supply agreements [LTA / Business Agreement]
• Drive Key Metrics like Cost reduction / Localization / SMI / Margin Expansion
• Conduct Quarterly Business review (QBR) with Preferred & Strategic suppliers
• Build cost model for different commodities to drive cost efficiency
• Interacts regularly with executives, customers and suppliers
• Monitor commodity markets & report price movements
• Provides supplier management as related to product development and integration.
• Supplier & Stake holders relationship management
• Manage & develop impact team to deliver results and accountability

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Min 15+ years of experience in managing sourcing operations from manufacturing background.
• Deep mechanical manufacturing process knowledge
• Strategic Sourcing Expertise & understanding of global strategies
• Proven track record in supplier negotiation and cost savings
• Expertise to foresee and mitigate supply chain risks
• Excellent analytical, presentation, communication, and leadership skills
• Project Management Skills
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
