Job Summary

Flex Power Modules develops and produces world-class power modules for Datacenter, Telecom and AI applications and have global footprint and engagement.
The typical products are DC/DC, PoL (point of load) products and we constantly develop new innovative platforms to our customers.
Caused by the enormous development mainly in the artificial intelligence area, the Kalmar design center is under large expansion where we together with several big actors develop power modules for their state of the are AI design. Many of our customers are early in their design topology change and has not yet settled their reliability requirements, thus we need to work together with our customer to match their requirements towards our quality assurance plan. This might in some cases require updates of our existing tests or development of new test methods. Our quality and environmental tests are performed at our facilities at the Kalmar R&D site.  
Tasks
At R&D in Kalmar we will set up a new reliability team. You will be a part of this team together with one project leader, another reliability engineer and one electronic hardware fault analyzer.
You will interact with the quality departments at our main customers, which is many of the largest companies in the data- and telecom business. You will also work closely together with our quality and reliability test engineers and the four product design teams that we have in Kalmar and the three design teams we have at our site in Shanghai, where today also the RMA management is located. 


What a typical day looks like:

  • Interact with customers. Match their requirements towards our quality assurance plan.
  • Interact and support Customer in certain RMA cases with Analyses and Investigations  
  • Keep up the knowledge of relevant standards for our operations.
  • Suggest changes or additions of qualifications tests to meet standards and customer requirement.
  • Perform reliability calculations both based on theoretical and statistical methods.
  • Interact with our RMA management

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • M.Sc in electronics or other relevant area
  • Experience in quality assurance and in customer relations
  • Fluent Swedish and English
  • Knowledge of IPC- or other relevant standards for electronic devices 
  • Knowledge of calculation of demonstrated MTBF
  • Knowledge of Telcordia (or similar) reliability standard
  • Experience from RMA management
  • Webull++
