Job Summary

In our Design Center in Timisoara our team creates technologies for the Automotive Market. Our power electronics portfolio includes Onboard Chargers, 48V and High-voltage DC/DC Converters.

As our design team is growing, we're looking to add a System Test Manager located in Timisoara.

Reporting to the Test & Validation Manager, this role will be responsible to define a testing strategy, to lead and coordinate the testing teams to meet the project and customer's timing and quality targets.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Managing the test team
  • Coordinating the testing activities (qualification and integration tests)
  • Planning of system tests (incl. test targets and objects, equipment, efforts, resources) in coordination with the overall project test plan
  • Analysis of system architecture requirements and definition of associated test cases or coordination and delegation of these activities in coordination with and to the associated test team

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • University Degree in a field of Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics
  • Relevant experience as a test manager in automotive industry
  • Fluency in business English
  • Experience as ISTQB® Certified Tester – Foundation Level, ideally ISTQB® - Advanced Test Manager
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to understand complex systems
  • Basic knowledge of automotive software development and testing process e.g. ASPICE, ISO26262
  • Knowledge of CANoe is desirable
  • Strong technical & analytical abilities (systematic approach, capability of abstraction and simplification, recognize dependencies, weaknesses and risks, understand the use, boundary conditions)
  • Expertise working within RM tools (Doors, codeBeamer, Polarion)
  • Self-reliant, structured, and proactive way of working
  • Team player attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Self-motivated personality
  • Ability to work flexibly and effectively in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Detail orientation
