Job Summary

The Trade Analyst will be based in Guadalajara North Campus, reporting to trade Analyst.

In charge for Global Trade Compliance activities including trainings, upholding policies, regulatory tracking and ensuring that industry best practices are implemented in conjunction with established Flex compliance procedures.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Basic comprehension of import/export laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Holds up for development and delivery of Trade Compliance policy framework, procedures and process.
  • Deliver specific training programs as required by manager.
  • Participate in projects which drive strategies and initiatives at the regional and site level to deliver Global Trade Cost Savings initiatives.
  • Conduct effective transactional review and audit of all imports/export records. Consolidate, researches and evaluates issues and provide recommendations of correction.
  • Partner and manage integration of new business or mergers and acquisitions.
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external partners including operations, purchasing, logistics, material planning, transportation vendors, etc.
  • Assist with investigations and assessments, help track and deliver corrective actions to address findings and recommendations and ensure timely completion.
  • Administer audit/assessment results.
  • Make use of IT Solutions and communication platforms to holds up Trade Compliance programs.
     

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor's degree in International Business or related fields.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms and tariffs.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
