In this role, you will be supporting the overall mission of the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF). If you are looking for a meaningful, mission driven career, Join FSA! #AGENT #MILITARY   A Financial Investigator performs, but is not limited to the following duties:

  • Provides professional investigations and collateral coverage to clarify and/or verify facts in Criminal/Civil/National Security/ investigations, or similar matters
  • Provides expert testimony in court cases/affidavits/Grand Jury and related matters
  • Travels in support of investigations
  • Provides analysis of information and makes intelligence assessments for cognizant investigators
  • Provides written reports/analysis of investigation/intelligence information
  • Must have above average oral communication skills


Requirements

A Financial Investigator must meet the following qualifications:
  • Minimum of four years experience in a law enforcement or related investigative exposure
  • An undergraduate degree is preferred
  • Posses a valid driver's license
  • Foreign language skills are preferred
  • Ability to consistently deliver the highest quality of work under extreme pressure
This position requires U.S. Citizenship and a 7 (or 10) year minimum background investigation.   Agency Overview The mission of the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) Program is to reduce the supply of illegal drugs in the U.S. and diminish the violence and other criminal activity associated with the drug trade. OCDETF forms the centerpiece of the DOJ counter narcotics strategy, and uses prosecutor-led, multi-agency, intelligence driven task forces to combat the most serious drug cartels.   Benefits Overview
