Description

Summary: The Instructional Lead ensures that the education program provides a personalized and effective mastery learning program to every student, teachers are supported in the Fusion approach, and student outcomes are demonstrated clearly with measurable success.

Salary Range: $60,000 USD

Your Day to Day:

  • Provide classroom instruction as needed.

  • Support the training and development of teachers and Department Heads as necessary.

  • Oversee teachers and Department Heads as necessary to ensure effective collaboration, communication, and implementation of strategic initiatives.

  • Enhance teaching effectiveness by conducting classroom observations and providing coaching sessions.

  • Ensure course integrity and student outcomes through the file check and course closure process.

  • Contribute to the enrollment process by ensuring appropriate course placement through assessment data, performance, goals, and recommendations.

  • Contribute to enrollment growth and retention by cultivating academic excellence, establishing strong community connections, and creating a positive experience for all stakeholders.

  • Support the Homework Café as needed to help students with independent work completion and organizational skills.

  • Facilitate student programming as needed.

  • Support the administration of student assessments and surveys as needed.

  • Inspire staff through exemplary leadership practices grounded in academic expertise, integrity, and commitment to excellence.

What You Will Own:

  • Manage the Department Heads as necessary.

  • Manage the observations and coaching process.

  • Manage the file check and course closure process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.

  • At least 2 years of teaching.

  • Academic leadership experience strongly preferred.

  • Experience working with students impacted by learning differences and/or mental health challenges.

  • Passionate about personalized and holistic education, and excited by alternative educational approaches.

  • Exhibits a unique and fun personality to support a vibrant student culture.

  • Demonstrates high emotional intelligence and ability to relate well to others.

  • Possesses strong time management and organizational skills.
