A day in the life of Inventory Control Technician at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:

• Assists in breaking down the pallets and unpacking delivery boxes in designated areas.
• Transport supplies to the OR. Puts supplies in the proper location in the OR always rotating stock to maintain First
  In and First Out.
• Checks for expired items and removes them from inventory to be documented. Monitors inventory levels of basic OR items
• and notifies Inventory Controller when items need to be reordered.
• Participates in product recalls as directed. Maintains a safe and orderly area.
• Receives and inspects the packaging integrity of incoming material, supplies, and equipment.
• Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
• Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs is required
• Minimum 1 year receiving/ storeroom, shipping, or general warehouse experience is preferred
• Basic computer skills preferred
