Description

The Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator I is responsible for day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management. Additional responsibilities include making deliveries, answering phone calls, responding to email inquiries, and maintaining a safe and clean work area. The role requires a solid understanding of warehousing, distribution, and logistics, with an emphasis on learning, initiative, and effective communication with colleagues, vendors, and international counterparts.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inbound delivery and receiving of shipments. 
  • Unload freight trucks.         
  • Retrieve pallets and stored products and equipment.        
  • Label products and packages.       
  • Pull and deliver inventory items.    
  • Monitor the ticketing system for pick requests.      
  • Operate forklift.      
  • Enter shipping data using appropriate scales, computer systems, forms, and measurements.         
  • Prepare and pack shipments according to shipping guidelines and customer requirements.    
  • Conduct cycle counts and audits to maintain inventory accuracy.  
  • Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure timely restocking and prevent stockouts.
  • Resolve discrepancies in shipments, inventory, or orders.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.     
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Requirements

Education and Experience
Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
Years of Experience
  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) required
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or warehouse management software (WMS) preferred
Skills
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and logistics workflows.
  • Ability to follow instructions, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and work ethic.
  • Well organized.
  • Forklift certification.
Physical Requirements
QA - General office environment requiring ability to:
  • Stand, walk, sit for extended periods of time.
  • Speak and listen to others in person and over the phone and video conferencing.
  • Use keyboard and read from computer screen and reports.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to travel frequently within China to various supplier manufacturing sites.
  • Ability to walk factory manufacturing operations and spend considerable time on the factory floor.
