Job Summary Located in Chicago, IL or Richardson, TX - this position is responsible for business data analysis and analytics; including Tableau dashboard development, constructing forecasts, recommendations and strategic/tactical business plans based on Pharmacy / PBM business needs.Creates specifications for business reporting and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements. May provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address pharmacy business issues. Produces datasets and reports and conducts business analysis.
Performs research and assists in analyzing financial, pharmacy, PBM and health data, including medical algorithms to determine health care expenditures, medical and economic outcomes, and cost containment strategies. Analyzes complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree and 3 years experience in Pharmacy, PBM or health care data, deep analytics, or insurance industry economics including 1 year experience in data analysis and information reporting relating to healthcare including pharmacy OR 7 years experience in health care services, deep analytics, or insurance industry economics including 1 year experience in data analysis and information reporting relating to pharmacy/ PBM data.

- Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services
- Independently solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions
- Works independently, receives minimal guidance
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may direct the work of other staff members
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience coding and developing Tableau dashboards.
- PCM and UM knowledge.
- Thoroughness, carefully/thoroughly monitors the details and quality of own and others' work.
- Understanding Environment including agendas and perspectives of others, recognizing and effectively balancing the interests and needs of one's own group with those of the broader organization.
This position must work in the office a minimum of 3 days per week.
