This position is accountable for meeting sales targets to directly sell or sell through a broker from a portfolio of managed care health insurance and ancillary products. As an experienced sales executive, may assist with training, mentoring sales staff or assist with corporate initiatives. Must have current general agent life and health insurance state licenses. Obtain all HCSC state licenses (and other states as applicable) within 90 days of starting in the role. Extensive knowledge of group managed care products including rating and funding, industry, and marketplace trends. JOB REQUIREMENTS: *Must have State Insurance License. *6 years' experience selling health insurance products with a successful record. *Thorough knowledge of and experience with group managed health care plans. *Effective verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to make presentations to groups and/or brokers. *Detail oriented; customer service oriented. *Leadership and mentoring skills. *Effective written and verbal communications skills. *Must be able to travel, including overnight stays within assigned region as necessary.
