Duties include working in our#Blood Bank Donor Center to perform blood donor screening, therapeutic phlebotomy and collection on patients of all ages,#reviewing blood donor history, evaluating suitability as a blood donor, and understanding the deferral process.# REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proficiency in the use of computers;#two years of phlebotomy experience#or completion of phlebotomy training at an approved school. Experience as#a donor or therapeutic phlebotomist#preferred. Applicants must have: A passion for caring for the community through quality work in a stand-alone hospital. A willingness to offer new ideas to the team to help with our culture of continuous improvement. Attention to detail in a well regulated department. The ability to organize large amounts of data. Willingness to learn and grow the blood donor program. The ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time.
