Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Lead Trainer to support daily warehouse operations while developing and coaching our warehouse associates. This position plays a critical role in ensuring employees are properly trained on safety procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), productivity expectations, and quality standards. The Lead Trainer serves as a role model on the warehouse floor by promoting teamwork, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator with strong leadership skills, experience in a fast-paced distribution environment, and a passion for developing others. Lead Trainer is responsible for training, mentoring, and supporting warehouse associates while assisting supervisors with daily operational execution. This role ensures employees understand work processes, productivity standards, quality expectations, and safety requirements. The Lead Trainer provides real-time coaching, identifies training opportunities, monitors employee performance, and helps create a positive, high-performing work environment. This position is ideal for an experienced warehouse professional who enjoys developing people and driving operational success.



Qualifications

 

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of warehouse or distribution center experience, preferably in a high-volume logistics or 3PL environment.
  • At least 1 year of experience leading, coaching, mentoring, or training employees in an operational setting.
  • Strong working knowledge of warehouse processes, including receiving, shipping, picking, packing, inventory control, and quality standards.
  • Ability to effectively train employees using Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and hands-on demonstrations.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word); experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred.
  • Ability to provide constructive coaching and performance feedback while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety best practices.
  • Strong experience with Forklift Operaion/ Forklift certification 
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and various shifts based on business needs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a warehouse environment for extended periods.
