The General Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of a supply chain operation. The DCM provides overall direction and oversight in the areas of performance, safety, P&L management, customer relations, continuous improvement, and associate development. Responsibilities: • Direct the operations of distribution, packaging, and transportation to achieve company objectives and meet customer expectations. • Evaluate overall operations and develop short and long-term goals to meet organizational objectives. • Oversee all warehousing, distribution, packaging, and transportation operations to ensure company and customer requirements are met. • Focus on continuous improvement and make decisions about enhancing value, service and effectiveness, and profitability. • Direct and oversee programs to ensure safety of all associates, equipment, and property. • Ensure compliance with all company, customer, and government regulatory requirements. • Directly manage budget and P&L for operations. • Develop work plans ensuring appropriate staffing levels, managing labor costs, overtime, and retention. • Maximizes quality and productivity by understanding and mastering all job standards for each function and evaluating performance variances to identify root cause, corrective action, and training needs. • Participates in the collection of performance measurements per customer, vendor and/or site requirements. • Reviews KPIs and makes recommendations for efficiency improvements to both processes and associate performance. • Establishes a strong relationship with the customer(s). • Prepares and submits weekly and monthly reports. • Deliver a consistent, high-performance experience to our associates and customer. • Know and be capable of communicating quality, food safety, and customer standards to all employees, customers, and 3rd party auditors as needed. • Follow corporate and site-specific safety policies and procedures, and correct noncompliance when observed • Know and be capable of communicating safety policies and procedures to all employees as needed. • Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and correct noncompliance when observed. • Follow corporate and site-specific safety policies and procedures, and correct noncompliance when observed. • Other duties as assigned Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision within 60 days of employment 401K with matching program STD, LTD - HSA, FSA Vacation and sick time Friendly and Open-Door culture Compensation: Salary for this role will be determined based on experience but ranges from $118,000-$142,000. * Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Logistics or business-related field; 10+ years management experience and comprehensive knowledge in a high volume fast paced 3PL, distribution, warehouse, and transportation environment; or equivalent combination of experience and education. * Strong demonstrated management of P&L. * Critical thinking, problem solving and reasoning skills. * Ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and communication styles. * Proficient with Microsoft Office, databases, WMS, and other metrics measurement tools. * Strong presentation, writing and speaking proficiency. * Strong organizational skills. * Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen principles preferred. * Experience with ADP platforms, including E-Time, Enterprise, ADPRM helpful. * Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the operation's needs. * May require experience managing multiple buildings Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
