
Description
A MHE3 Reach Truck Operator is responsible for operating a reach truck (a specialized forklift) to move, stack, and organize materials within a warehouse, distribution center, or production facility. The role ensures safe and efficient handling of goods, accurate inventory movement, and support of overall warehouse operations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) (preferred)
- Previous experience operating a reach truck or similar powered industrial equipment.
- Must be able to successfully complete post-hire assessments.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain equipment certifications (e.g. OSHA, company, etc.).
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment appropriate for the work environment (e.g. protective footwear, protective eyewear, gloves, etc.) in accordance with safety policies.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety signs, and labels.
- Basic math and computer/scanner skills for inventory tracking.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a reach truck to transport, stack, and retrieve materials from high racking systems.
Load and unload pallets, containers, or trucks as required.
Follow safety protocols and company procedures to prevent accidents and product damage.
Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
Assist with cycle counts, stock rotation, and general inventory control tasks.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas.
Collaborate with warehouse staff, supervisors, and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Complete documentation, labels, and scanning for accurate tracking of goods.
Support other material handling tasks as needed (pallet jack, shrink-wrapping, staging).
- Other duties as assigned.
Schedule: Monday to Friday (OT as needed)
Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00PM
Pay Rate: $20.50 per hour
