Description
The Receiving Lead is responsible for verifying that all inbound shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. The lead ensures all policies and procedures are being followed. They assign duties to associates to maximize workflow and efficiency. They ensure documentation is appropriately processed and delivered for each shipment. The Lead will communicate detailed plans for product placement and storage while filing documentation for daily close outs with their supervisor. The lead will collaborate with management to ensure team coverage as scheduling and business needs change. The Receiving lead will train associates, assist the Receiving Supervisor, follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed and other duties as assigned. In addition, the lead will observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate. Supports, trains and certifies newly hired LTOs • Operates industrial powered lift truck in a safe and efficient manner • In the absence of the Shift Supervisor the Lead will act as Supervisor as needed • Inventories materials on work floor and supply workers with materials as needed • Assists Supervisors and management of the facility in planning, assigning and directing work • Assist LTO's with daily issues • Assist other Leads and Supervisors with ensuring that policies, procedures, and best practices are being followed • Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed. • Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate. • Other duties as assigned. Hourly Rate: $ 21.50 * 2-5 experience in a lead role warehouse environment * Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite * Experience with Safety training and compliance. * Great Oral and Written Communication Skills * Problem solving abilities with key focus on root cause analysis * Adaptable, Driven, Fast learner and Team work oriented * Ability to lift up to 40 lbs Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
