Join the hospital trusted by Chicago's Southland, Ingalls Memorial Hospital, in this role as a Radiology Supervisor.
Under the supervision of the Manager, Radiologic Services, gives direction to assigned personnel and supervises the daily operation of diagnostic services to both inpatients and outpatients of all ages, at all CHHD sites; Harvey, Calumet City, Flossmoor and Tinley Park. Participates in Radiologic Quality Assurance Committees and hospital based TQM/CQI activities as requested.
Essential Job Functions
- Press Ganey Goal at all locations to achieve 75th percentile
- Maintains department operations within budgetary guidelines
- Ensures all charges are appropriately entered, daily
- Ensures all exams are read by radiologist, daily
- Monitors consistent employee labor productivity
- Monitors employee attendance and tardiness regularly
- Facilitate monthly department meetings including all locations
- Manage and maintains MDI, Daily Readiness and learning board; tracks metrics for reporting for all locations
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an approved school of radiologic technologists and certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
ARRT (R), IEMA Licensure by the State of Illinois to perform Radiology procedures and additional advanced ARRT
Must have current license in the state of Illinois as well as a current CPR certification
