**Job Title: Memory Care Activities Assistant**

**Job Overview:**

We are looking for a compassionate and creative Memory Care Activities Assistant to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents with memory-related challenges through engaging and meaningful activities. This position requires patience, creativity, and dedication to providing the best care possible.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Collaborate with the Memory Care Coordinator to design and implement therapeutic and recreational activities tailored to the needs and interests of residents.
- Facilitate daily and weekly group activities and one-on-one engagements, ensuring a supportive and enjoyable environment.
- Assist in evaluating residents' progress and adapt activities to meet individual changes in abilities and preferences.
- Maintain records of activities and residents' participation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Contribute to a positive and energetic atmosphere by encouraging resident involvement and interaction.
- Provide compassionate and personalized support to residents during activities, adapting to their needs with sensitivity.
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of activity spaces to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
- Support residents during meal times and other daily routines as needed, ensuring comfort and well-being.

**Qualifications:**

- Previous experience working with individuals with memory care challenges is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate residents.
- Creative problem-solving skills with a passion for developing innovative activities.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team with a positive and professional attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in memory care or related fields is a plus.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire.

**Working Conditions:**

- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet the needs of residents.
- Physical stamina to participate in activities, including the ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds.
