Description

Position Description: 

  • Perform communication system design (satellite and terrestrial) and feasibility analysis to develop value solutions that intersect customer needs and Intelsat strategies 
  • Support the team with link budget analyses, data analyses and day to day administrative activities to improve the overall efficiency.
  • Work with vendors to obtain the details of their technologies and populate an internal database.
  • Work with MS Visio to create a database of high level diagrams
  • Help the team to provide technical appendices and service orders using the Salesforce.com CRM system and other internal tools.

Job Responsibilities:

  • You will learn to perform communication system design (satellite and terrestrial) and feasibility analysis to develop value solutions that intersect customer needs and Intelsat strategies.
  • You will assist Sales to identify customer needs and drivers both technically and financially and collaborate with Sales through customer assessments, proposal development and the delivery of effective communications.
  • You will gain knowledge and understand satellite technology and offerings, collaborating with various internal teams (Network engineering, capacity planning and provisioning and etc.)
  • You will work on creating a database of various vendors: antennas, amplifiers, LNB and modems.

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Eligible candidates must be one of the following:
    • Part-time or full-time students who have completed 24+ credit hours (rising sophomores/juniors/seniors) and are enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited college or university; Part-time or full-time students enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited college or university
    • May 2025 graduate 
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, professionalism, and maturity in the workplace
  • Effective communicator in both written and spoken English
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in use of MSOffice Suite
  • 3.0 GPA or above preferred

Summer Intern Program Description:

  • Paid internship;12 weeks - Dates TBD
  • Schedule - 40 hours/week, Monday- Friday, 9 – 5 or regular core hours
  • Hybrid environment (minimum 3 days in office location)
