What are we looking for?
The Modular Inspector/Plans Examiner is responsible for inspection of modular facilites and quality control programs as well as conducting plan reviews of various modular design submissions for various state programs. This position will manage client accounts conduction plan reviews, inspections and consulting. This position will travel at least 50% of the time.
Shift/Schedule: 40 hours a week/ Monday - Friday
Salary & Benefits Information
The base wage or salary range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

What you'll do:
- Inspection of modular projects at client facilities.
- Assist in expanding the Texas modular inspection region
- Review plans for various state programs modular submissions.
- Review quality control manuals for various state programs.
- Assist in the day-to-day function of assisting clients with questions and consulting as they arise.
- Organize and assist clients projects to be done in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
- High School diploma
- 5 years in the modular industry
- ICC Inspection and Plans Examiner Credentials
Commercial Combination Inspector
Certified Building Official
Commercial Energy Plans Examiner
Fire Inspector I
Building Plans Examiner
Commercial Energy Inspector
Residential Energy Inspector/Plans Examiner
Residential Combination Inspector
- Willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Valid driver's license and reliable driving record is required.
This is a remote position; however, applicants must reside in Texas area and be able to legally work in the United States.
Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:
- Other ICC or State Specific Inspection or Plans Examiner Credentials.
