- Job Requirements
- Medical Oncology with progressive care beds/pediatric patients.
- High acuity of PCU and ICU. Candidates with PCU/ICU experience preferred. May float to Med/Surg.
- Required: High acuity PCU patient experience
- Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls
- 2 years of oncology experience preferred.
- Certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), ACLS & NIH
- Ratio: 1:4-5 Med Surg Telemetry
- Ratio: 1:3 PCU
- Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.
- Previous travel experience preferred.
- Schedule Information
- No set schedule, no set weekends, no block schedule.
- Facility determines the complete schedule, with the possibility of working every weekend. Must be flexible.
- Maximum 7 straight days off.
- 14-week contract required if taking 7 days off.

- Special Procedures/Unit Details:
- 18J is a 36 bed Oncology Telemetry unit with over 24 beds dedicated to PCU level of care.
- Pediatric patients are cared for on this unit but are extremely rare and would likely be cared for by perm staff. Pediatric experience is NOT required to be agency RN here.
- Special Equipment: B450 monitors GE telemetry system, Bladder Scanner, Alaris pumps, Stryker beds, Continuous Bladder Irrigation, PCA Pumps
