Product Development Lead - AI & Automation

We are seeking a proactive and technically adept individual to lead initiatives introducing new technologies-such as software solutions, artificial intelligence, and generative AI-into our business operations. As the Product Development Team at The Stepping Stones Group, we spearhead digitalization and innovation within the organization. Our focus is on identifying and implementing AI and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency, increase revenue, and improve the employee experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the end-to-end process of technology integration, from initial discovery through to company-wide implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand needs, gather requirements, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented technologies, making data-driven adjustments as necessary.
• Conduct Discovery: Analyze key user workflows and formulate hypotheses for improvement.
• Ideate Solutions: Develop potential solutions, evaluating options to build in-house or procure externally.
• Run Experiments: Design and execute experiments to validate potential benefits and construct solid business cases.
• Manage Implementation: Oversee the development and integration of chosen solutions, ensuring seamless rollout across the company.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in product development or operations within a technology-driven organization, or in a hands-on digital transformation role.
• Strong understanding of technology and systems in tech-first environments.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple stakeholders, and drive impactful outcomes.
• Experience in stakeholder and change management, with a track record of successfully leading projects that resulted in measurable impact.
• Familiarity with AI and automation technologies and their application in business contexts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.
• Project management experience, with a focus on technology implementation.
