The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a highly experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a school-based position in the greater Washington, D.C. area! The RBT will be part of our on-site Intensive Behavioral Student Services team and will support students with severe cognitive, behavioral and medical needs in a classroom setting.
What You'll Do
- Support individual needs of students with severe cognitive, behavioral, and medical needs (2 BTs:1 Student)
- Provide direct services under the direction of the BCBA Program Manager
- Data collection and documentation
- Implement Behavior Implementation Plans (BIPs) and Individual Educational Programs (IEPs)
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Respond to crisis intervention

What We're Looking For
- RBT certificate in good standing with the BACB required
- 2+ years' RBT experience working with adolescent population required
- Experience working with students with severe cognitive and behavioral needs, including restraints and crisis prevention, required
- Experience working with students with medically fragile needs required
