Position Overview: As a Perioperative Medicine Specialist, you will be at the forefront of preoperative evaluations, determining contraindications to surgery, conducting cardiovascular risk assessments, and providing valuable recommendations to reduce postoperative complications. Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive preoperative evaluations.
- Utilize validated cardiac risk assessment models.
- Evaluate risks across organ systems and provide recommendations.
- Participate in daily morning chart summaries and address Dr Advices.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified or eligible in Internal Medicine.
- Prior experience is a plus; however, we provide necessary training.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac risk assessment models.
- Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
