SCPMG San Bernardino County serves a population in the northeastern section of the LA Basin that's as diverse topographically as culturally. Position Overview: As a Perioperative Medicine Specialist, you will be at the forefront of preoperative evaluations, determining contraindications to surgery, conducting cardiovascular risk assessments, and providing valuable recommendations to reduce postoperative complications. We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive preoperative evaluations.
  • Utilize validated cardiac risk assessment models.
  • Evaluate risks across organ systems and provide recommendations.
  • Participate in daily morning chart summaries and address Dr Advices.

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified or eligible in Internal Medicine.
  • Prior experience is a plus; however, we provide necessary training.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac risk assessment models.
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
