Job Summary

The Learning Success Coordinator provides critical support to students across diverse learning modes, including both online and face-to-face. Works closely with both internal staff and external contacts to ensure seamless integration of learning into student's high school experience. Prioritizes student's successful completion and positive experience with various learning methods. Builds productive professional relationships while collaborating and engaging with stakeholders. Works carefully to guide students, parents, and staff on learning expectations, regularly monitors student performance, and intervenes to address any concerns.

Essential Responsibilities

Program Support

  • Support the development of learning opportunities across various modes, including online and face-to-face formats.
  • Work in tandem with faculty and staff to help students successfully meet program outcomes.
  • Liaise between external organizations and internal staff, parents, and students.

Student Education and Support

  • Connect students with learning opportunities related to their high school, college and career plans.
  • Advise student and parents ensuring that they clearly understand expectations and can meet all requirements.
  • Monitor student performance and actively seeks support to address concerns when needed including maintaining consistent communication with students and parents.

Tracking/Assessment/Reporting

  • Work with leadership to create and operationalize strategic directions for learning through implementing, assessing, and monitoring strategic and operational goals.
  • Assess stakeholders to evaluate operations and outcomes for continuous improvement, developing and revising policies, procedures, and expectations as needed.

Position Requirements

Minimum Qualifications - An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for the requirements listed.

  • Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written, oral presentation, and overall communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate and adapt to a wide variety of audiences and learners.
  • Demonstrated ability to remain flexible in a demanding work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated commitment to cultural diversity.
  • Consulting skills to included analytical, problem solving, communication, facilitation, negotiation and influence.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school staff and the public.
  • Knowledge of and/or skill in organizational competencies of accountability, change effectiveness, collaboration and teamwork, communication, Hawaiian cultural commitment, and innovation.
  • Knowledge of KS mission, strategic plan, policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of and sensitivity to Hawaiian culture and Christian values.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently sits, perform desk-based computer tasks and grasp light or fine manipulation, talk or hear.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
  • Occasionally stand and/or walk, write by hand, and lift and/or carry, push and/or pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
  • Rarely twist, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, climb, reach or work above shoulder, or grasp forcefully.

Working Conditions

  • Work is conducted in an office environment and may require work to be conducted in on-standard workplaces.
  • Work is typically conducted Monday through Friday at normal business hours but may be conducted in evenings and weekends, as necessary.

79,100.00 - 108,400.00 Annual

Based on the compensation range provided below, salaries are commensurate with job-related experience, skills and competencies, education, internal equity, length of work year, and other organizational needs.
