Seeking a Senior Workday Implementation Lead to drive the global rollout of Workday across HR, HCM, and Finance functions. This role will initially focus on implementation and deployment of the platform and evolve into ongoing optimization, governance, and delivery ownership post-launch.
The ideal candidate brings a blend of program management expertise, business technology acumen, and strong stakeholder engagement skills, with a track record of delivering large-scale global Workday implementations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of Workday (HR, HCM, and FIN), ensuring alignment with business objectives, technical readiness, and change management goals.
- Partner with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to define requirements, manage timelines, and oversee vendor / consulting partners.
- Serve as the primary program manager and business liaison, ensuring coordination across global business units and functions.
- Post-implementation, own the continued optimization and enhancement roadmap, driving process improvements and adoption across the organization.
- Manage governance, change control, and prioritization for new Workday features and releases.
- Drive communication and training strategies to ensure successful user adoption globally.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experiences:
- 10+ years of experience in business technology, HR operations, or consulting within large, complex organizations.
- 5+ years of experience in Workday
- Proven track record of leading or program-managing global Workday rollouts, including HR / HCM / Finance modules.
- Experience working in or with corporate functions such as HR Operations, HRIS, or Business Transformation.
- Strong understanding of process optimization, stakeholder management, and change enablement.
- Business technology (non-technical IT – consultative, program-oriented roles)
- HR operations or HR technology in a global corporate or consulting environment
- Strong program and project management skills (global scale, multi-workstream delivery).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities across business and technical teams.
- Strategic thinker who can balance execution with long-term optimization.
- High comfort with ambiguity and evolving program needs.
- Deep familiarity with Workday configuration, governance, and post-implementation sustainment best practices.
