Description

Our client is a leading industry manufacturer, offering innovative solutions and services across various sectors. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manufacturing Manager to oversee operations for an entire manufacturing/assembly department.

The Manufacturing Manager will supervise staff, plan and approve production schedules, manage department budgets, and maintain high standards of quality and safety. The role also includes optimizing processes to increase productivity, enforcing company policies, and maintaining clear communications with the Plant Manager.

Full-Time | Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $110-115K, based on Experience
Shift: 2nd Shift, 2 pm-11:30 pm, Monday-Friday

  Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety and health standards are met for an accident-free workplace
  • Communicate regularly with upper management about production issues
  • Develop workflow policies/procedures to improve efficiency, safety, and quality
  • Oversee daily manufacturing/assembly operations
  • Collaborate with Production Planning to create and implement production schedules
  • Monitor and improve assembly processes using lean methodologies
  • Maintain a staffing schedule based on demand forecasts
  • Manage and motivate production workers and supervisors
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Supervise multiple manufacturing/assembly lines; coordinate with logistics for on-time delivery
  • Hire and train new staff
  • Participate in equipment uptime and maintenance scheduling
  • Maintain work area for a clean, safe environment

Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in industrial/metal manufacturing & assembly (Mechanical/Electrical Engineering a plus)
  • Familiarity with electrical and mechanical assembly operations
  • Supervisory/Management experience (10 or more persons)
  • Lean certification preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and assembly processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Smartsheets, Outlook
